Information we collect

• Information you give us: name, email, phone number, business name, and the messages you submit through our forms, chat, calls or texts.
• Service data: call recordings, transcripts, voicemail, text messages, caller details and appointment or intake information handled on behalf of our customers.
• Billing data: processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on this website.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and cookies or similar tools (see “Cookies” below).

How we use information

We use information to provide and support our services, respond to enquiries, process payments, improve service quality and accuracy, send service messages, and meet legal obligations. We send marketing only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Call recording and AI

Calls handled by our receptionists may be recorded and transcribed, and some calls and chats are answered by AI. We tell callers when AI is answering or when a call is being recorded. Our customers are responsible for any additional notices or consents they are required to give their own callers.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number and consent, we may text you about your service or enquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate (such as hosting, telephony, AI and transcription providers, payment processing and live chat), with the customers on whose behalf we handle calls, when required by law, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to make the site work, understand how it is used, and power live chat. You can control cookies in your browser settings or through our cookie banner.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under Canada’s PIPEDA and applicable US state privacy laws, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw your consent. Email info@tektalksupport.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

International transfers

Information may be processed and stored in Canada and the United States.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
